内容简介

本书是为高等院校土木工程专也类学生选编的专业英语教材。

全书以土木工程为主线，系统地介绍了土木工程及其所包括的有关分支学科的基本内容和历史概况，如建筑、桥梁、道路、交通、水坝、岩土、材料、经济与管理以及计算机的应用等。共编排二十二篇课文作为课堂教学用。

每篇课文后附两篇内容紧密相关的阅读材料，注重介绍世界土木工程界的名人、趣事、重大工程，供教师指导学生阅读，或者根据实际教学学时选作机动教材。

本书也可作为从事土木工程的专业人员了解专业知识、提高英语水平的辅助阅读材料。

作者简介

段兵廷，男，华中科技大学土木工程与力学学院副教授。1981年9月至1988年3月就读于同济大学地下建筑与工程系，获工学学士、硕士学位；2000年8月至2001年8月受国家留学基金管理委员会资助赴美国(Purdue University，Louisiana Tech University)作访问学者。主讲课程："地下

再便宜点就好了 书很好是正版的，包装一般，书角有点压坏，还好不影响什么，质量很好，发货速度很快，两天就收到了，书的内容确实很实用，这些天忘记回老家拿书了，家里人帮忙收到这本书，很早就收到了。女性是天生的购物狂，对于购物总是有一些潜藏在体内的欲望，其实女性购物是心理的一定反映，尽管并非所有女性都承认，促使购物欲出现的原因也并非每个女性都一样。西方有句古话：把东西卖给有钱、有势、有需求的人。有趣的是，这里的“人”更适合于指代女人。现代女性普遍经济独立，在家庭购物中大权在握，堪称“有钱有势”。

东西写得比较详细 宝贝非常不错，和图片上描述的完全吻合，丝毫不差，无论色泽还是哪些方面，都十分让我觉得应该称赞较好，完美！ 书是正品，很不错！速度也快，绝对的好评，下次还来**，因为看到一句话 女人可以不买漂亮衣服不买奢侈的化妆品但不能不看书，买了几本书都很好 值得看。

我读书的目的是丰富知识，开阔视野，助推工作，提升自身文化素养。总结我的读书经历，有四次起伏变化：第一阶段是学生时代仅为学习成绩而读书，我称为被动读书；第二阶段是有了兴趣爱好仅为提高特长而读书，我称为局限读书；第三阶段是在工作岗位上仅为干好本职而读书，我称为狭隘读书；第四阶段就是现在的情况，读书意识强了，读书范畴广了，但读书量太少，我称为平常读书。和大多数人一样，总是找借口说工作忙而贻误读书，这不是能站住脚的理由，而是自身做事的毅力不够，没有养成坚持每天读书的良好习惯。这就算是对自己的一次自我批评吧。
